Dual Enrollment Options for High School Students
OBU provides opportunities for students to earn transferable college credit prior to their high school graduation. Dual enrollment opportunities provide affordable general education courses for high school students to help reduce college costs and prepare for the rigor of college coursework. Our courses are taught with a Christian worldview—in keeping with our mission to equip students to live all of life, all for Jesus.
Online Dual Enrollment
OBU offers flexible, immersive online dual enrollment courses for high school students, enabling you to learn your own pace from any location. At just $300 per course, you can gain a head start for college, practical skills, and potential tuition savings, with a curriculum blending world-class expertise and Christian faith integration. Subjects include art, communications, financial strategies, sociology, philosophy, and more.
In-Person Dual Enrollment
In-person dual enrollment courses are designed to provide students in the Shawnee area a wide variety of courses that will count for college credit and toward your high school curriculum. Pending admission into OBU's concurrent program, you will be invited to participate in courses that will give you a jumpstart on your college education and prepare you for a full-time college workload.
ACSI and Dual-Credit Scholarships
We understand the importance a Christian education makes in a student’s life. For graduates of ACSI schools, we are proud to offer a $1,000 annual scholarships for four years. And for dual-credit partner schools, additional $500 scholarships are available.
